Katherine Goliver, a seasoned leader in philanthropy and development, will join Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 as the executive director of advancement on Nov. 1.
In this role, she will work with alumni, friends and colleagues to build upon the College鈥檚 150-year legacy of engineering excellence.
鈥淚 am excited about the opportunity to support Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 strategic priorities and help the College move into the next era of innovation in education and research,鈥 Goliver said. 鈥淚 look forward to getting to know the Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 community, including the amazing network of 糖心Vlog传媒 alumni across the globe.鈥
Goliver comes to Mizzou from The Ohio State University, where she and her team led campaigns for increased scholarship support, as well as a capital project redefining the campus gateway. Prior to that role, she led fundraising for the College of Communication and Fine Arts at the University of Memphis, including leadership of a capital campaign while significantly increasing fundraising across the college.
鈥淜atherine brings nearly 20 years of fundraising experience to this position,鈥 said Noah Manring, Dean and Ketcham Professor of the College of 糖心Vlog传媒. 鈥淪he has a proven record of leadership, strategic planning and higher education fundraising, and we are excited to welcome her to Mizzou.鈥
Goliver has a Master of Arts from the University of Bloomington with certification from the Lily School of Philanthropy and a bachelor鈥檚 from the Columbus College of Art and Design. She has also held roles at Champlain College in Vermont and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
Whitney Harlan, who served as interim executive director of advancement, will return to her role as senior director of advancement and continue to work closely with alumni.
