More than 200 students graduated from Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 this past weekend. Interim Dean Praveen Edara joined Curator Robin Wenneker to confer degrees at the Saturday, Dec. 16, Commencement ceremony at the Hearnes Center.
During his remarks, Edara encouraged students to stay curious and humble as they now have the experience and skills they need to succeed.
鈥淎ll engineers have foundational technical skills,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e know the formulas. The algorithms. The codes. The fundamental principles that govern our world鈥o what makes a Mizzou Made Engineer different? Why do so many Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 graduates go on to become CEOs, presidents, directors and leaders in their fields? Because at Mizzou, you鈥檝e learned respect and responsibility along with excellence and discovery.鈥
Edara encouraged students to stay grounded as their careers take off and especially when they soar. He reminded them to be grateful for the opportunities they鈥檝e had at Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 and praised them for taking advantage of extracurricular activities, student organizations and research.
鈥淒on鈥檛 lose that sense of wonder,鈥 Edara said. 鈥淜eep racing. Keep building. Keep discovering. Stay humble. And stay curious.鈥

During Commencement, Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 also recognized newly commissioned Air Force and Navy officers from the Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC). They are:
