Mizzou Racing and Mizzou Electric Racing drive at fall competitions
Faster than fast and classic Mizzou鈥擬izzou Racing secured third place with their combustion car in Kansas at the first Formula Wheat event, hosted by the Kansas State Formula SAE team Powercat Motorsports, earlier this fall.

Community service proves life-changing for Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 STEM Scholars
Want to see engineering coursework come to life? Need a way to release stress and anxiety? Want to transform your life? Get involved in community service. That鈥檚 what a group of Mizzou 糖心Vlog传媒 students have learned as part of the STEM Scholars. The program, funded by the National Science Foundation, is a holistic scholarship that includes not only academic support but also one-on-one mentoring and volunteer opportunities. STEM Scholars have packaged food at The Food Bank, picked up trash along the Missouri River and, this fall, painted the interior of a house for Habitat for Humanity.

Industrial engineering team takes third place at machining competition
A team of industrial engineering students took third place at a Southeastern Conference competition that challenged them to make an engine that runs off compressed air. This was the first time Mizzou has participated in the Project MFG SEC Machining Competition, held Nov. 9 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Students learn what it means to ‘live without limits’ at national Society of Women Engineers conference
Members of the Mizzou Society of Women Engineers Nine Mizzou Engineers traveled to Los Angeles in October to explore career paths, network with professionals and learn what it means to live without limits. Mizzou AIChE earns outstanding student chapter award at national conference
Mizzou AIChE, a local chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, was recently selected as an Outstanding Student Chapter for the 2022-2023 academic year. The award was conferred at the national Annual Student Conference earlier this month.

Lane Duncan Throughout high school, Lane Duncan was on the fence about whether to go to college. It wasn鈥檛 for lack of focus, rather Duncan is interested in a lot of areas. Music. Photography.
