Biography

Deniz Emre joined the Industrial and Systems ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ Department at the University of Missouri in Fall 2025 as an assistant teaching professor. Her PhD research centered on optimization and network-based models for decision-making in large-scale systems, with applications to societal challenges. Earlier, during her MS studies, she developed algorithms for bi-objective mixed-integer programming problems.

Emre’s research focuses on operations research, network optimization and predictive analytics, with applications in large-scale planning and decision-making.
