Biography

Sheila A. Grant is a Curator’s Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ at the University of Missouri. A former post-doctoral researcher and research engineer for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, Grant has received research funding from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, USDA, Army and industrial contracts. She has founded several high tech ventures and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, a Fellow of the Biomedical ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ Society and a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½.
