A Mizzou Engineer has received funding from the Transportation Research Board — a division of the National Academy of Sciences, ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ and Medicine —to study how construction methods may impact the foundations of bridges and other transportation structures.

A Mizzou ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ team is working with the Port of Alaska and its stakeholders to assess freight and fuel truck operations and develop an interactive digital communication portal for improving visibility into Port operations. Sharan Srinivas, assistant professor of industrial and systems engineering, received funding from the Alaska Department of Transportation (AKDOT) for the two-pronged project.

While minor earthquakes along the New Madrid Fault occur regularly without incident, there’s a small chance another large quake could rattle Missouri and surrounding states. That’s why Mizzou ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ has teamed up with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to begin to understand how residents in St. Louis could best evacuate the area.
